Delicious Homemade Pizza Recipe

— 4 cups all-purpose flour
— 2 tablespoons instant yeast
— 1/3 cup sugar
— Sprinkle of salt
— 1 cup warm milk
— 1 egg
— 6 tablespoons soft butter
— 1 onion bulb
— 1 red bell pepper
— 1 green bell pepper
— 3 carrots
— 2 scotch bonnet peppers
— 3 tomatoes
— 1/4 teaspoon thyme
— 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
— 1 seasoning cube
— Salt to taste
— 1 cooking spoon of vegetable oil
— 1 cup water
— 2 Chicken breasts
— 4 sausage pieces
— 3 bacon slices
— 1 green bell pepper
— 1 red bell pepper
— 2-3 cups grated mozzarella cheese

HOW TO PREPARE:
Start by adding the All-Purpose flour into a clean bowl, then add your yeast to it. Now, add your granulated white sugar and some salt. Give it a good stir to combine. Now, make a hole in the center and add the egg and mix again to combine. Next up, add the warm milk and mix again. The next to enter would be your butter. This time, you need to use your hands to do the job. Mix up the ingredients together with your hands until a dough is formed.
After you have formed the dough, transfer to a flat surface and begin to knead for at least 10 to 12 minutes. Kneading the dough will help to activate the gluten and give it a very soft and stretchy consistency (which is exactly what you want). Ensure you knead for at least 10 to 12 minutes to be sure you reach the right consistency for the dough. This process will take a lot of muscle power, but in the end, it’s worth it. The dough should be very soft and should pop right back up when poked at.
Now, to activate the yeast, place the kneaded dough back into the bowl and cover with a kitchen napkin and place it in a warm place. The dough will double in size and become lighter in weight afterwards.
THE PIZZA TOPPINGS:
While the dough is rising, go ahead and prep the pizza toppings. A typical pizza dropping is made up of the sauce, the vegetables, Protein, and lots of cheese. You can use a tomato based sauce, or you can just make your own pizza sauce at home. We will be sharing a homemade pizza sauce recipe for you to follow through. We’ll be needing onions, green and red bell pepper, scotch bonnet pepper, carrots, celery, and tomatoes.
Now, cut all the vegetables into tiny bits. Now, add some oil to a pan and heat up on medium heat. Next, add the onions and fry for some seconds and then, add the carrots and celery. Stir for another minute before adding the green and red bell peppers and the tomatoes. Season it with some thyme, some curry powder, seasoning cubes and salt. Stir to combine. Now, add one cup of water, cover the pot and leave to simmer for 5 minutes. After the estimated time, the vegetables should have softened up. Now, transfer to a blender and blend till it completely smooth. Pour out the sauce to a bowl and set aside.
Note: This sauce can be stored in a freezer for up to 2 months. So, you can use it little by little when you want to.
Now, let’s get back. For the proteins, we’ll be using chicken breasts, some sausage, and bacon pieces. You can use whatever proteins you have available. Season the chicken with some salt and pepper and transfer to a frying pan on high heat. Fry on one side for 3 to 4 minutes until brown, and do the same for the other side. Fry all sides of the bacon and sausage as well. Now, take it off the heat and cut into bite size pieces. Place them on a plate and set aside.
Proceed to grate the cheese with a box grater. Mozzarella cheese is usually the cheese for making pizza because of its very stretchy consistency. After grating, set it on a plate and put aside. Also, cut the vegetables into strips and set aside. Now that the toppings are ready, it’s time to assemble the pizza.
At this time, the dough should have doubled in size. Remove it from the mixing bowl and place on a flat surface. Now, cut in four equal halves and work with one at a time.
For the stove method:
Flatten out the dough and cut away the sides to make it look nice and shapely. In a clean frying bowl, add some cooking oil. Allow the pan to heat up, then lift the dough and place it in the pan. Allow to cook on one side for about 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly brown and then flip to the other side. Immediately start placing the toppings. Start by spreading the sauce on the dough. Now, sprinkle the cheese to it. Now, add the chopped chicken, sausage, and bacon. Add the bell peppers and then, add more cheese. Cover the pan immediately and leave to cook for another 3 to 5 minutes on low heat. The heat has to be set to the lowest. This is important so that the food doesn’t burn. Afterwards, open up the pan, take it off the heat and put it on a plate. Cut in slices and enjoy.
