The Best Fried Fish Recipe Ever

The Best Fried Fish Recipe: For today’s recipe, we will be making the best fried fish recipe you’ve ever tasted. No doubt, you must’ve tasted a lot of them, grilled fish, fried fish, boiled fish, smoked fish, however it may be. You should know what this particular and special fried fish recipe tastes like. So, let’s get to it right away.

INGREDIENTS:

— Blend (Bell peppers, tomatoes, chili, scotch bonnet, onions, curry leaves, spring onions, parsley, garlic, ginger)
— Locust beans (optional)
— Seasoning cubes
— Hake (panla) fish
— Salt

HOW TO PREPARE:

Start by blending your Bell peppers, tomatoes, chili, scotch bonnet, onions, curry leaves, spring onions, parsley, garlic, ginger. After that is done, start seasoning your fish in a clean sieve or plate. Add your salt and shake to mix up.

In a clean cooking pan, add some oil. Heat it up and start adding your fish to the oil. Allow it to fry and turn it over at intervals so that each side is fried properly. Make sure that you fry the Hake fish properly, if not, it will scatter in the sauce and well, nobody likes that. So fry very well, until it is dry. Now, into the same oil, add your locust beans (adding locust beans is optional). Now, add your pepper mix and fry for at least 10 minutes before adding other ingredients. Season it with come seasoning cubes. Check back and stir.

Now, add your fish to the stew and stir gently. Fry for another 5-7 minutes and stir again gently. Note that if you fry your Hake fish properly, it would break in the stew. You can use any fish of your choice, but using the Hake fish is preferable. Your stew is ready to be eaten with either white rice or yam or spaghetti or macaroni.

PRO TIP:

You can add some fried plantains to the food if you wish. Don’t forget that the addition of locust beans to the stew is very optional. Some people don’t like the taste, but that’s a personal opinion issue anyway. Make sure to taste your stew to know if any ingredient needs to be added or not.
