AIR-FRY OR FRY IN OIL*

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large bell pepper or two small ones
  • Scoth bonnet pepper (as much as you can handle)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed seasoning
  • In a clean bowl, add your already washed and cleaned Tilapia. Now, add your onion powder. Add your powdered pepper, garlic powder, salt and mix them to get the ingredients even spread. Air fry them for 15 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (ca. 191 °C).
  • Now, get your yam and start peeling and cutting into small bits if you haven't already done that. Now, wash them and put them in a clean bowl. Blend your large bell pepper and small ones, alongside the onions.
  • Now, add some red oil into a pot and add your diced onions, crayfish, and stir. Add your pepper mix and stir once more. Add some salt and crushed chicken seasoning. Fry for 5 minutes.
  • Now, add your yam to the mix and stir. Add some salt and cover it to cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • In another pot, add some oil and add your pepper mix. Now, add your diced onions and crushed seasoning powder. Add some salt and shrimp powder to the mix and stir. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Now, add your tilapia fish one by one. Stir gently to let the pepper mix get all over the fish. Now cover and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Take the fish off the heat and check on your yam.
  • Stir until pottage thickens. Now, add your spinach or any vegetable of your choice. Your pottage is ready to be eaten with the fish. Bon Appétit!
