First, know that for this recipe, you will need a food processor. We do not recommend using a blender, unless you are absolutely certain that you've got a very powerful blender. Most blenders aren't strong enough to handle this process.
Now, into the food processor, add your unsalted peanuts. Gently crush up the peanuts. You'll notice that it is well ground now, but it isn't sticky yet. Next, we'll add a bit of sugar and a pinch of salt. Next, add 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable oil. Now, as before, grind until it's smooth.
Add more oil and grind again. After that is done, open it up and have a taste if you must. Check and adjust the ingredients as you see fit, if it requires more salt, then do so.
Now, transfer the butter into an airtight container. If you want a thicker or thinner peanut butter, use a little less oil for a thicker result and more oil for a thinner result.
You can keep it in the fridge to chill until you're ready to use. It's best to keep it in the fridge to preserve it for longer. Enjoy.
