Ingredients
- Vegetable cooking oil
- Fish
- Red Chili peppers
- Green chili peppers
- Smoked Panla fish
- Onions
- Chicken stock cubes
- Coarse Himalayan salt
- Vegetables
- Uziza leaves
Instructions
- In a non-stick cooking pan, add some vegetable oil. Start adding your fish. If you don't have a non-stick pan, there's a hack to use. Add some flour to the oil before frying. Make sure your fish fries properly before flipping them. While that is happening, place a pot of fire and start boiling your rice.
- Now, start blending your peppers. Wash them well and place them in a food processor. Blend them roughly. You can add a few tomatoes.
- Now, add the blended peppers into a bowl and keep them aside. In another cooking pot, add the oil which was used to fry the fish. Now, add some chopped onions. Fry it for a while till it releases some of the aroma into the pot. Now, add the blended pepper to the pot. If you feel like the oil is enough, you can add some more oil. Season with some chicken stock cubes. Add some coarse Himalayan salt and then stir.
- Then, add your smoked panla fish to the stew. Stir gently. Next, add the fried fish to the stew too. Stir once more. Now, add your already washed and sliced vegetables to the stew. Stir and allow it to cook for some minutes before taking it off the heat.
