INGREDIENTS:

Unsalted butter 800g
Semi sweet dark chocolate 100g
All purpose flour (maida) 1 cup (120g)
Cocoa powder 2tbsp (15g)
Baking powder 1tsp
Sugar 1/4 cup (50g)
Warm milk 1 & 1/2 cup (125g)

For the cream:

Whipping cream 150ml
Powdered sugar 1/4 cup (25g)
Vanilla extract 1tsp

For the chocolate mixture:

Semi sweet dark chocolate 100g
Hot milk 1/4 cup (60ml)

HOW TO PREPARE:

In a clean mixing bowl, add 100g of unsalted butter. Then add 100g of dark chocolate. Place the bowl over a pot of boiling water and let the butter and chocolate melt slowly. Stir to help melt faster if you wish. Once that is done, take it off the pot and sieve 1 cup of All purpose flour into the mix.

Add 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder to the flour. Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the mix too. Sieve gently and get rid of any lumps that appear. Now, add your sugar to the mix too.

Next, add 1/2 cup of warm milk. Mix well until combined. By the time you’re done, you’ll see that the batter is now chocolate dark. Take a baking tray of 5×10 inches. Place a parchment paper on it to cover well. Now, pour the batter into the tray. Spread nicely.

Take out a clean pot, place a stand in it (see video). Cover and heat the pot for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. Now, place the tray on top of the stand and cover the pot yet again. Cook on low heat for 20-22 minutes or bake in a pre-heated oven at 170c for 20-22 minutes.

Once the time is up, get the tray out. Now, get your whipping cream ready, add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar into the bowl of whipped cream. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Whisk together to combine. Next, remove the cake from the tray and place on a clean surface. Also, remove the parchment paper.

Use your cake extractor to cut out circles of cake. (Watch video to see how it’s done). Now, place the brownies into a large glass. Now, pour the whipped cream. After that is done, pour the melted chocolate. Sprinkle some chocolate brownie crumbles as toppings. Serve.
