Sausage Fried Rice
Hi there food lovers! Ever prepared sausage fried rice? If you haven't, you really should because it's arguably the recipe of the year.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked or leftover basmati rice
- 7-8 cooked beef sausages
- 3 eggs
- 1 medium onion
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper
- 3tbsp water
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1/4tsp black pepper
- 1/4tsp chili flakes, optional
- 1/2 tsp Chinese salt or MSG
- chopped green onions.
Instructions
- Start out by preparing your ingredients. Cut your sausage into smaller bits. Now, crack open three large eggs into a mixing bowl. For this recipe, we would be using 3 large eggs. Add some cooking oil into a pan and add your whisked eggs. Fry the eggs for a while and let it scramble.
- After scrambling the eggs, pour them into a clean bowl. Still using the pan, add some more oil. Now, add your chopped onions. Stir and add your crushed garlic. Stir to mix up all up again. Next, add your chopped carrots and your green peas. Add your chopped red bell pepper too and stir to combine.
- Add two tablespoons of water and allow to cook for some minutes. You can now add your cooked rice to the mix. Stir once again to combine and add your dark soy sauce.
- Next, add your ketchup and then, add your black pepper and chili flakes. Stir everything together and cover to cook. Add some salt and stir again. Add your sausages and scrambled eggs. Mix everything together and add your spring onions to garnish. Your delicious delicacy is ready to be served.
