Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds of chicken thighs
  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of white pepper
  • 1 Cup of cornstarch
  • 3 Cups of flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 and half cup of water
  • 1 Tablespoon of oil
  • 1/4 tablespoon of chili flakes
  • 1/3 spoon of chopped or crushed ginger
  • 1 spoon of crushed garlic
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon of water
  • 2 Tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • Start by cutting your chicken thighs into smaller parts. Now, transfer everything into a clean bowl and set aside. In another clean bowl, add 1 tablespoon of salt and white pepper.
  • Also add 2 cup of cornstarch. Then add your flour. Use a whisker and mix everything all up. Next, break one egg into the bowl.
  • Now, add your water. Add your oil. Stir evenly before adding your chopped chicken thighs. Mix everything all up. Make sure that the chicken is fully coated.
  • Cover with a Clingfilm and marinate for 30 minutes. Get your pan and oil heated and ready. Start frying. Place the coated chicken one by one.
  • As each chicken piece get golden brown and well fried, take off the heat and place on a paper towel to get rid of the excess oil.
  • In a clean pan over low heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Add your chili flakes. Add your crushed ginger and garlic. Next, add your sugar. Now, add your brown sugar.
  • Next, add your orange juice. Now, add your vinegar. Now, add your soy sauce. Mix your water and cornstarch together, then add it to the mix.
  • Stir it all in and allow to cook for a bit. Now, add your fried chicken one by one into the pan. Add your sesame oil. Your meal is ready to be served.
