This is one recipe you can share with your friends, especially on that cheat day – the one where you don’t just feel like being flamboyant in the kitchen. We understand, we can’t all be superwomen, every day, but hey, who says you can’t still make something super?
So, let’s get right into it!
For this meal, we would be needing some ingredients, which we can assure you are very easy to get. You most definitely have them in your kitchen.
Easy Steps To Make Go-To Indomie Dinner
Ingredients
- Indomie noodles (or any noodles of your choice)
- Onions (freshly sliced)
- Carrots (freshly sliced)
- Tomatoes (freshly sliced)
- Plantains (freshly sliced)
- Indomie
- Tomato paste
- Groundnut oil
- Sweet corn
- Noodles seasoning
- Grounded Bell peppers
- Sliced Green peas
- Water.
Instructions
- Start your cooking with the plantains. By this time, you must've already sliced them nicely. Begin frying, till they're golden brown. If you prefer them darker, then by all means, go ahead, but it's best to just let them fry for a bit, not too much, or they'll taste burnt.
- When you're done with the plantains, place them on a neat plate and start with the noodles.
- Drizzle some oil in a pan and add your sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, and tomato paste till they're nicely fried. Then, add your carrots and some water. Add your noodle seasoning and stir it up.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for a little while. The noodles go in next. Cook for about two minutes before adding your bell pepper and sliced green peas. Mix everything one more time and cook till it's nice and tender.
- Your Indomie is ready to be served and eaten along with boiled eggs or better still your fried plantains.
PRO TIP:
Always make sure that your ingredients are carefully selected and ready before you start cooking. A lot of times, people just throw in their ingredients as they cook. This may be a comfortable method, but it can have an adverse effect on the food. Timing is key when cooking and if you let your food stay a minute longer than required all because you’re blending your pepper, it can go soft and nobody likes a soggy meal.
